Predators is a hack and slash action game based on the movie that came out back in 2010. It’s not a particularly new game, though, because the iOS version came out back in 2010 along with the movie.

ASUS has unveiled a new docking station for the Nexus 7 on their Japanese website and is expected to go on sale some time this month for 3,480 yen ($42).

The docking station uses the golden connectors on the side of the Nexus 7 to interface with it. It has a microUSB port on the back along with a 3.5mm audio jack, which lets you charge or connect the Nexus 7 to a computer as well as output audio from it. Read more »

The Kickstarter funded Android-based game console OUYA has gone from being just an idea to an actual product in the past few months. Now the creators of this console are ready to start shipping out the developer consoles to those who backed the Kickstarter project.

The first OUYA units will start shipping on December 28 and will reach in the next couple of days. These will be running an early version of the hardware and software and are meant for developers to create their games for OUYA. Read more »

It’s that great time of the year for the Angry Birds fans again. Rovio has just released the annual winter update to the Angry Birst Seasons game with 25 themed levels one for each day until Christmas.

Facebook Photo Sync feature is now available to the Android and iOS client apps. If you used them just recently you should have already got a notification about the new extra.

It does exactly what the name suggests – automatically uploads your captured photos to a private album on Facebook. You can share them with your friends later if you want. Read more »

Samsung previous released a couple of flip covers for the Galaxy Note II and the S III, where you had to replace the back cover with the case that also acted as a back cover and had a flap to protect the display. The CyanogenMod team has been teasing version 10.1 (that’s based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean) for various devices with just screenshots, but Nexus 4 users can now actually grab a nightly release of the ROM and take it for a spin.

Angry Birds Star Wars has just got its first update – the planet Hoth. It adds 20 new Hoth-themed levels, new pink (Leia) bird, bonus levels and AT-ATs.

Adobe’s Photoshop Touch may not be quite in the same league as its desktop counterpart but compared to other image editing applications available on mobile it does allow you to do a heck of a lot more.

The app was so far only available on tablets on both the platforms and was optimized for the bigger 10-inch displays. In the latest v1.4 release, however, Adobe has optimized it for smaller tablet displays. The UI is now optimized for the iPad mini and 7-inch Android tablets, such as the Nexus 7, up to a minimum resolution of 1024 x 600. Read more »

Google has updated their Google Drive and Chrome apps on both the platforms.

The new Google Drive app gets a slew of new features but the biggest one is the ability to edit spreadsheet within the apps, which makes it so much more useful now. Read more »

Although not a lot of people have managed to get their hands on Google’s latest and greatest smartphone, we have already started seeing some complaints from the early adopters. One of the major issues so far has been a buzzing in the earpiece that a significant number of owners are reporting.

But by far the biggest pain point is the glass back on the Nexus 4, which has an affinity to crack when the device is dropped. However, it seems that dropping may not be the only way to break the glass. It can also break with something as simple as temperature change. Read more »
