The Huawei MediaPad X1 is the pinnacle of the company’s presentation on the MWC 2014. It is the most interesting device Huawei has brought to Barcelona and there is indeed a lot to discuss.
Even though the MediaPad X1 is a 7″ slate, Huawei considers it as an all-in-one device and believes many users will be carrying and using it as a primary (and only) gadget. Yes, this means people will make calls on it. Read more »
The LG F70 has a 4.5″ display of WVGA (480 x 800) resolution and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat with LG’s customizations on top. LG is marketing it as a very affordable LTE device and has implemented a unique Knock Code, which will unlock the device after a specific knock sequence.
It works like a charm after you’ve gotten used to it and is innovative and intuitive. The feature also works nicely with one hand. There’s also the LG Guest Mode and more. Read more »

Below the display, there’s a physical Home button sitting between a back and menu capacitive keys. On the dual SIM version, there’s no physical Home button, but four capacitive ones – back, home, menu and dual SIM manager.

Lenovo has got a secret and it will share it with the world tomorrow at 1pm EST. The company is teasing an image of a tablet, which shows very little – a frame, some large-looking bezels and a front-facing camera.

Perhaps the numerous colorful props in the image would indicate a black, white, red, purple, yellow and pink color option, or perhaps we’re looking too much into it? Read more »
