Facebook has introduced a new feature, called On This Day. As its name implies, it’s all about giving you reminders of stuff you’ve shared on Facebook on that particular date in the past.

On This Day is supposed to make it easier for people to look back at old photos and memories they’ve added to the social network. On This Day works both with the content you posted, as well as things you’re tagged in. Only you can see your On This Day page, but you can choose to share the stuff in there with your friends. Reddit says it “isn’t just a source for news or adorable cat pictures”, but also home to “some of the most vibrant discussions happening on the Internet”. And that’s why it’s launching the ability to embed comment threads.

The Galaxy S6 and S6 edge are well on their way to consumer markets and with a record number of preorders piling up, both retailers and users are quite eager to get their hands on the Latest Samsung tech. Netflix has announced that it will be bringing its service to Australia and New Zealand. This would be the first time Netflix will be launching in the Asia Pacific region. The company is said to launch next in Japan.

Customers in this region can subscribe for 8.99 AUD per month to avail the SD service. For HD content, you’ll have to shell out 11.99 AUD and 4K content is priced at 14.99 AUD. Read more »

Xiaomi has announced a new 40-inch model as part of its Mi TV 2 line-up. As the younger kin of the 49-inch Mi TV 2 with 4K video support, the new 40-inch Mi TV 2 model is more of an affordable full HD version. Xiaomi’s new 40-inch Mi TV 2 will be available on March 31 from Xiaomi website.

The new Mi TV 2 model features a 40-inch SHARP SDP X-GEN display panel with full HD pixel resolution and LED backlight mode with 5000:1 contrast ratio. Read more »

Microsoft and Samsung announced an expansion of their global partnership. Going forward, the Korean giant will pre-install Microsoft applications and services to its Android hardware.

Instagram has launched a brand new app today, and this one is focused on doing one thing only – photo collages. These have become immensely popular lately, and the Facebook-owned company apparently couldn’t stay away from the field.

When Apple unveiled its smartwatch, it promised it for “early 2015.” The current launch target is set for late April, but Chinese publication UDN reports that there are still issues that will cut the production rate in half.

LG’s press team announced today the launch of a pair of compact LED projectors, as part of the company’s Minibeam range. Both focused on portability, the two devices are otherwise quite different in specs and usage scenarios.

We were very impressed with the Meizu MX4 and even more impressed with its bigger counterpart the Meizu MX4 Pro but to cover all interested users, the China-based maker has a cheaper phablet in the face of the Meizu m1 note.

It cuts a few of the more premium hardware characteristics but the looks and feel are every bit as good. The screen is a 5.5″ IPS unit of a lower 1080p resolution (compared to the 1536p of the MX4 Pro) but is every bit as bright and colorful. Read more »
