The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is largely based on the Note 4, save for the unique curved screen. This reduced the internal volume, which in turn made the battery smaller – 3,000mAh instead of 3,220mAh in the Galaxy Note 4.

Nexus 6 up for preorder in India on Flipkart

The massive Nexus 6 is now officially available for preorder India. Those who want to get (both) their hands on the Nexus 5 can head over to Flipkart now and order the phone. The prices start at INR43,999 for the 32GB and INR48,999 for the 64GB models, in both blue and white.

The Nexus 6 was also recently put up on the Google Play Store for the same prices but the phones are yet to be made available for purchase over there. Somehow Flipkart managed to start the sale process even before Google, which still just shows ‘Coming Soon’ on the Play Store. Read more »

Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 seem to have signal issues

Last month, Samsung finally announced the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5, which had been leaking like crazy before that. The two new phones are decidedly mid-range in specs, but they do come with metal unibody construction. It’s taken Samsung a very long time to go this route for smartphone materials, and now it looks like it may have a problem on its hands.
