After launching the superb Rayman Origins on consoles and desktop last year, Ubisoft has brought our favorite disjointed character to the mobile platform. Rayman Jungle Run is the latest installment in the long running series of 2D platforming games and is the first game in the series to make an appearance on iOS and Android.
Rayman Jungle Run is not the same game as Rayman Origins, even though it uses similar artwork, but is a completely new game made from the grounds up for the mobile devices with a new control mechanism. Let’s see how it stacks up against the previous games in the series. Read more »

The mobile gaming category is currently populated by two types of games, those that are meant to give you a “console quality” feel and others that are designed specifically with the touchscreen and the usage case in mind. While it’s nice to have high quality 3D visuals and extensive character and story driven games, in the end, the second category of games is the one that works the best and is the most popular.
HUEBRIX falls in the latter category. It’s a puzzle solving game for iOS and Android where you have to drag out paths and fill the shapes. Sounds simple, but it’s often the simple things that are the most enjoyable. We decided to find out if it that’s the case with this game. Read more »
If there’s one thing Gameloft’s good at, it’s consistently bringing console quality games to the small screen. Some of these are perhaps too close to some of the console titles out there, close enough to be labelled as clones, but for those who want to experience some of the audio visual glory that they are used to seeing on the big screen in the palm of their hands, these games have rarely disappointed.
The newest title to fit this description is Wild Blood. The first Gameloft game to feature the exceptional Unreal Engine, Wild Blood promises gory hack and slash action with stunning visuals that the engine is known for. Let’s see how well it manages to do that. Read more »

There are not a lot of games on the App Store that can fall under the ‘interactive comedy’ category. In fact, I’m pretty sure The Act is the only one of its kind right now.
The Act was originally launched as an arcade game back in 2007 but was later cancelled. It was then ported over to iOS and published by Chillingo Ltd. The game has been available on the App Store for a while now for $2.99 but is being sold for a dollar for a limited time, so we thought we should give it a try and see how this new method of gameplay is. Although this game has been available for a while now, it often appears in the top charts on both the App Store as well as the Google Play store. So we decided to give it a try and see just how amazing ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ really is. Read more »

The Asphalt series of games are widely regarded as the best arcade racing games on mobile. They are often compared to the Need for Speed series on the consoles, which is a good thing as it is one of the best and most popular series of arcade racing games on any platform.
The latest iteration in the Asphalt series is Asphalt 7: Heat.
