Major update to Snapseed for Android brings refreshed design, new features

The Android version of Google’s popular image editor Snapseed received a major update. Version 2.0 of the application delivers sleek new design and new features to its users.

The new Snapseed sports a new icon and sleek design, which lacks textures. Viewing a photo on the app is now accompanied by a histogram below it. The editing tools are activated via a floating button.

Snapseed 2.0 has new features as well. They include enhanced undo and re-edit tool, new brush tool, and new tool for spot healing among others.
