Instagram boasts 300 million users. Kevin Systrom, the CEO of the social network delivered the news about the achievement in a dedicated blog post.

The latest user count means that Instagram now boasts more users than Twitter. Instagram users share about 70 million images and videos every day.

Alongside the special occasion, Instagram announced a new feature coming our way. Starting in the “coming days,” high-profile accounts of celebrities and brands will have verified badges, the enabling you to know if you are following the desired person or label.
