In addition to its tablet line-up, Lenovo has also announced the Yoga 3 Pro laptop with a 13.3″ 3200 x 1800 (QHD+) display with Gorilla Glass 3 on top. Under the hood, there’s the latest Intel Broadwell chip, the Core M-70, which doesn’t require any fans.
The Yoga 3 Pro has also lost some weight and is 17% thinner and 15% lighter than its predecessor at 1.19kg. Further specs include up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage, but there’s also a base model with 256GB. Connectivity is covered with Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0 as well as two uSB 3.0 ports, microHDMI out, a 4-in-1 card reader and DC-in, which doubles as a USB 2.0 port.
The 44Whr. Li-Polymer battery of the Yoga 3 Pro is rated to last up to 9 hours. The standing modes of the Yoga 2 Pro are also here with Laptop, Stand, Tent and Tablet modes. Lenovo used more than 800 pieces of steel and aluminum to construct it, which sounds ensuring that it’s quite durable.

In the US, The Yoga 3 Pro will be available with a base price of $1,349 from Lenovo’s web store and Best Buy at the end of October. In Europe, the base price is €1,599 and the laptop is offered in three colors – silver, orange, and gold.
Last but not least, the company also unveiled a Yoga Tablet 2 running Windows. Both the 8″ and 10.1″ models feature 1920 x 1200 resolution and are powered by a quad-core Atom CPU operating at up to 1.86GHz and 2GB of RAM. Internal storage is 32GB and is expandable.
Battery life of the tablet is rated slightly lower than its Android counterpart and is 15 hours (versus 18 hours for Android). Connectivity options include dual band 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and optional 3G/4G variant for the 10.1″ Yoga Tablet 2.
The Windows running Yoga Tablet 2 slates will cost €249 and €399 and will be available later this month.
