Capcom has released a remastered version of the popular Resident Evil 4 game for the PC. The new version features improved visuals with widescreen support and sharpened text and textures and runs at HD resolution at 60fps.
Resident Evil 4 first debuted on the GameCube back in 2005 and was later ported over to the PS2. Both version received a lot of praise from critics, making it one of the top rated games in history. The game was later ported over to the PC back in 2007 but poor visuals and terrible controls made the game nearly unplayable.
With the new Steam release, Capcom has finally released the definitive version that PC gamers have been waiting for. The game is now available for pre-order on Steam and if you get it now you’ll get a 60+ track digital music album and a 80+ page digital archive featuring Resident Evil 4 characters, creatures, story, concept art, and more. The game releases next month on February 28.
