The freshly announced HTC First made its way to our office. The AT&T exclusive smartphone, as its name mildly suggests, is the first to come with the Facebook Home Android launcher out of the box.
The HTC First is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset with two Krait CPU cores, clocked at 1.4GHz. There’s a gig of RAM and 16GB of built-in memory on board. A 4.3″ 720p Super LCD display, 5MP camera, and 1.6MP front-facing shooter complete the highlights of the device’s spec sheet.
The smartphone comes with a stock Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. Naturally, Facebook Home is also preinstalled, should you choose to indulge your social networking cravings.
Check out a video of an HTC First unboxing, followed by a hardware and user interface walkthrough.
We are well under way with our full review of the HTC First, so be sure to check back for it in the next couple of days.
