CES 2013 is in full swing and ASUS has fueled the train of announcements with the latest member of its Vivo family of devices – the VivoTab Smart Tablet.
The slate is running Windows 8 and is powered by a dual-core Intel Atom Z2760 processor and 2GB of RAM. Built around a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, the VivoTab Smart Tablet weighs 580 grams and is 9.7mm thin.
At the back, the tablet features a 2 MP camera and NFC functionality. You can order the tablet with the company’s new “TransSleeve” keyboard which acts as a stand and a cover. Just like Microsoft’s Type Cover, the TransSleeve features full-on physical keys and a touchpad.
Neither the availability, nor pricing of the VivoTab Smart Tablet have been announced just yet.
