True, there have been blurry shots of this one before. Now, the upcoming Motorola Droid X2 appears even closer to an official release with this next leak including official press shots.
The device, logically, sports Verizon Wireless logo on its back along with the familiar Droid graphic on the screen.
Some significant changes are expected in the Droid X2 in terms of hardware. Rumor has it, that the chipset will be manufactured by NVIDIA and the CPU will be dual-core. The screen, while keeping its original size, might increase in resolution (supposedly to qHD). A bump is expected in the amount of RAM as well.
While all these changes are a welcome addition to the DROID X already impressive spec sheet, I can’t help but wonder what stopped the people at Motorola from changing the looks of the succeeding device at least a little. Feel free to disagree, but I don’t find the Droid X too attractive to look at. An improved design was pretty high on my wishlist for the DROID X2 and I felt certain that it would benefit its appeal and desirability.
