We just got our hands on the HD-totting Sony Ericsson Vivaz and you can bet you’ll be getting a review. But before then, we’ve got a quick video demonstrating the cameraphone in action plus an HD camera sample.
Sony Ericsson Vivaz held in hand
It’s sleek and thinner than what the photos so far suggested. The Vivaz is actually quite quick to snap them 8 megapixel photos, but its key selling point will definitely be the 720p HD video recording. The Vivaz is the second HD-recording cameraphone and all hopes are that it will do better than the pioneering Omnia HD. From what we’ve seen so far, the prospects are quite good. At least it doesn’t duplicate any frames and delivers all 24 frames worth of HD footage.

I do admit that GSMArena.com is running a bit late on X6 review. Unfortunately sometimes getting the phones is not as easy as some of you might think. Especially when we are talking a handset of such high public interest as the Nokia X6, on which everyone wants to get their hands.

But now that we have it in, we can guarantee you that we will do our best to come up with a detailed review as soon as possible. But for now we have prepared a short unboxing video as a brief warm-up. This will also give you a chance to ask some questions that you want answered in the review.
We are getting BlackBerry handsets in numbers around the office lately.
We got our feet wet with the Bold 9700 review last week (a nice phone indeed) and we’re continued with the Curve 8520 (not as impressive, review expected soon).

So it’s time for the last man standing – the latest BlackBerry Storm2 and its revolutionary piezzo-electric touchscreen. Now that we already have it in the office, we can share our first impressions with you. There is also a quick unboxing video for you after the break. Read more »
All the waiting has paid off, we have it our hands. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 or as its friends call it, Rachael, is in our office. It only just arrived, but we already have quite a bit to show you. Or more like tease you. We’re working on a preview but we just started so chew slowly.
We have to admit that all this interest for the BlackBerry Bold 9700 puzzles us a bit. No, it’s not a bad handset or anything but the BlackBerry devices are anything but mass market and feature-stuffed. But then again, that only makes the BlackBerry Bold 9700 achievement all the more prestigious.

And now that we have one of those babies in our office we can finally check out what all this fuss is about ourselves. The BlackBerry Bold 9700 is certainly much more compact and easily fitting in the hand than its predecessor. Oh and that trackpad certainly works great too outdoing the E72 optical trackpad by several laps.

As a special treat for you guys, we’ve prepared a short unboxing video for you. Check it out after the break.
It’s finally here folks – the Nokia N900 in all its Maemo-powered shine finally arrived at the office. It is certainly one of the hottest names of the season and the hype generated by the new OS is huge. So now that we have the actual device on our hands we can see what this fuss is all about.

Now we cannot tell you too much about the phone itself just yet but we can show you how it looks (and behaves). Judging a book by its cover is never a smart idea but starting off at the wrong foot is not what a new platform pioneer would like to do.
Handling the beast
Oh yeah, we almost forgot – there’s also a short demo video after the break, demonstrating a part of the Nokia N900 UI and performance.
Perhaps you’d be happy to hear that we have a little treat for you ready to be published tomorrow. After the successful HTC HD2 preview we did last week, we are now ready to push out the full-featured N900, oops… HTC HD2 review tomorrow. Sorry about that lapsus over there, my mind was off to a different thing altogether. Just forget I mentioned N900 up there, alright?

So anyway, I thought you guys (our avid blog readers) deserve a little taster of what’s coming, so here you go. Oblige yourself with a new HTC HD2 UI video. It will be up here at the blog exclusively – it’s the little things that count. We’re really impressed by how snappy this thing is. Check out the clip after the break and stay tuned for our full featured review tomorrow evening (CET).
