Motorola contest points at $249 price tag for Moto 360

It appears that Motorola accidentally revealed the price tag of the Moto 360 smartwatch. The hotly anticipated gadget is pegged to have an average retail value of $249 when available.

The pricing appeared in the rules of a Motorola contest for watchface design. As expected, the winner will be treated to his/her own Moto 360 smartwatch.

While the Moto 360 $249 retail value is yet to be officially confirmed, there’s little reason to doubt that the smartwatch will indeed be priced in the ballpark. If it turns out to be the case, the Pebble Steel and the hot-selling Samsung Gear family are certain to get a run for their money.
