Google Play Store updated, gets wishlists

Google seems to be on a roll with its app updates, and the latest one to receive new features is the Play Store. The official repository app now features wishlists and supports removing apps from My Apps list.

Wishlists are a powerful addition to the Play Store and you can easily add items to yours via the Bookmark icons on the individual apps’ screens. Once you’ve added an app to your wishlist, you can view it from Options -> My Wishlist.

It’s not limited to apps either – you can add anything that’s available in the Play Store like music, movies, TV shows, magazines and books.

It wouldn’t be surprising if in the near future Google allows your friends and family to buy you the stuff that’s in your wishlist as a gift. That would be a whole new level of cool.
