Windows Phone 8 torrent client graduates from beta, hits WP Store

Windows Phone 8 has finally received its own a native torrent client after wpTorrent graduated from beta and is now available on the Windows Phone Store.

Obtainable in a paid and a free versions, the app allows you to download files from torrent files and magnet links alike. wpTorrent also comes with its own file manager that shows you the progress, size and name of the files you’re downloading. Naturally, the torrent client supports file priorities, adjusting the download/upload rate limit and setting incoming listen ports.

Moreover, the app is neatly integrated with the video and music players of the OS. There’s also a built-in search engine and power saving options. The latter provides you the option to set a shutdown of the app if the battery is below a certain threshold or when Wi-Fi isn’t available.

The free version of wpTorrent is ads-driven and is limited to just 200KB/s download speeds. The pro version costs $3.99 and naturally, doesn’t have this limitation. Follow the source link below to give the free version a try.
