Vodafone UK to offer the iPad 2 very soon, the tablet premiere in Japan gets delayed

Vodafone has just confirmed that it will be among the carriers to get the Apple iPad 2 in the UK. A dedicated Coming Soon page for the Apple latest slate just appeared on the Vodafone UK website.

Unfortunately no details about potential data plans has been published. There’s also no telling if the carrier will be subsidizing the iPad 2 price.

We previously wrote about the iPad 2 coming to Everything Everywhere in the UK on the 25th of March. For those of you who haven’t heard of it still, EE is Orange and T-Mobile on the British Isles. This means that all the major telecoms over in the UK will be selling the new iPad 2 from the day one.

Meanwhile Apple announced that it will be delaying the Japanese premiere of the iPad 2. The distasters-stricken country was initially planned to be among the ones in the second wave of the iPad 2 availability expansion, but recent events forced Apple to alter their plans.
