To help you get into the gift-giving mood, Verizon has a pretty good deal going on for Android smartphones. Namely, the carrier is selling all Android devices that normally cost $199 or more with a two-year contract for just 50% of their price.
So, for example, the Galaxy Note 4 can now be had for just $149.99, whereas you normally have to shell out no less than $299.99 for the privilege of purchasing one from Big Red.
The situation is similar for the Sony Xperia Z3V, which now goes for $99.99, as well as the Motorola Droid Turbo (this too can be grabbed for $99.99 right now). There are some other Android smartphones which seem to be discounted, but unrelated to this offer. Take the Galaxy S5, which is also $99.99.
Of course the one (but huge) caveat here is that all of these prices are for handsets bought with new two-year contracts attached. So while you do save quite a bit, you’ll need to sell your soul to Verizon for the next 24 months. If you can live with that, then perhaps you should act fast, to ensure delivery before December 24.
