Unannounced Samsung SM-G900F shows up in benchmark scores Top 5

A Samsung SM-G900F – an model number for an unknown device – has found its way into the Top 5 Web Phones chart of BrowserMark 2, sandwiched between the two Galaxy Note 3 variants.

So, what’s this yet unannounced Galaxy device?

It recently got imported into India for R&D purposes with a listed price of around INR 33,000 per unit. That’s below the INR 37,000 price of the Samsung I9500 Galaxy S4, but the performance suggests a Snapdragon 800 chipset with 3GB RAM, just like the Galaxy Note 3 has.

And just like the Samsung Galaxy J has – a version of the Galaxy S4 LTE-A with a metal body whose availability expanded from Japan to Taiwan just today. Perhaps India is its next destination.
