TP-LINK T882 droid heads to China, runs on vanilla ICS

If you just looked at your wireless router, you are not alone. This isn’t even TP-LINK’s first attempt at a smartphone, but the previous ones never really gained traction.

The T882 runs on the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich – the vanilla version. This specs are pretty decent, too – it has a 4.0-inch WVGA display, a 1.4GHz processor (no info on number of CPU cores, though), an 8 megapixel camera with 720p video recording and dual-LED flash plus 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The phone is only going to be available in China and its pricing is still uknown.

Thanks, Alfred, for the tip!
