Toshiba’s latest quarterly results aren’t very good – the company’s revenues are down and despite generating $18.5 billion in revenue Toshiba actually lost $136 million.
Year over year revenue fell by 9% – that includes PCs, TVs and all sorts of electronic devices and appliances.
The company’s forecast for the first quarter of 2012 has become gloomier too, expecting earnings to be two times lower than previously projected.
LG, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and Nokia’s quarterly results have all come out on a loss, Samsung and Apple have posted record profits though.
