Sony launches dual USB flash drive geared towards Android smartphones and tablets

Sony launched a dual USB flash drive, designed specifically for the needs of memory-deprived Android smartphone and tablet users. The gadget combines a full USB 2.0 port and a microUSB connector into a compact, sleek-looking body.

The new Sony flash drive offers USB on-the-go functionality (OTG) for devices running Android 4.0.3 and up. A complimentary file manager app by Sony is compatible with the flash drive. It is available in the Google Play Store.

The new Sony flash drive will be available in Sony retail stores next month in three different memory capacities – 8, 16, and 32GB. They will be priced at $19.99, $29.99, and $62.99 respectively.
