We already encountered with the Nozomi rumors twice and we are kind of familiar with its awesome specs – a 4.3-inch 720p screen, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 12 megapixel camera and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Today another leak sheds more light on the Nozomi, but also reveals another device called Aoba.
The two devices popped up into the Android’s Nenamark database (Nozomi, Aoba). It seems someone has tested the two gadgets and uploaded the results online. The info from the database once again confirms the Nozomi’s HD screen, the dual-core 1.5GHz processor but also tells us the GPU – Adreno 220 and the Android version inside – 2.3.5 Gingerbread.
We hear Aoba for the first time, but it has exactly the same specs as Nozomi – an HD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Adreno 220 graphics and currently Android 2.3.5 is ticking inside.
I bet both devices will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but it makes sense the test units run an older version (although Sony Ericsson latest official Android version is 2.3.4) until Google releases the 4.0 to manufacturing. There is also a possibility both Nozomi and Aoba are different versions of one and the same device.
Anyway, both Nozomi and Aoba sounds awesome and I can’t wait to hear more.
