The Samsung Galaxy S I9000 can now get to taste Android 4.2 Jelly Bean thanks to the work of an XDA developer pawitp.
What he released is an AOSP-based preview ROM, which lets you experience the goodies brought by the latest release of the Google OS.
This is the first ever release of the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean ROM for the Galaxy S I9000 and naturally, there are some things that aren’t polished yet. For example, there isn’t an Email/Exchange app yet, and some the users report Wi-Fi and APN not working. It doesn’t sound like it’s ready to be your daily driver, but then again that’s hardly expected from a preview release.
To download the tasty Jelly Bean ROM, head over to the source link below and be sure to read the installation instructions before proceeding. Good luck!
Thanks for the tip, Avdaga!
