Samsung Focus 2 came by to show us its LTE credentials

The arrival of the AT&T exclusive, LTE enabled Samsung Focus 2 to the market is hardly a surprise, given the fact that the competition on the US market is already sporting LTE connectivity. However, in order to avoid clashing with the likes of the Nokia Lumia 900 and HTC Titan II, the Korean creation undercuts both in terms of price and specs.

The Samsung Focus 2 (unsurprisingly) features a single-core, Scorpion CPU, clocked at 1.4GHz, and Adreno 205 GPU. There is 8GB of built-in memory and 512MB of RAM. A 4″, WVGA Super AMOLED screen, 5MP camera with front unit for video calls, and 1750mAh battery are the other highlights from the handset’s spec sheet.

The measures of the newcomer are quite pocket friendly. They are 121.7 x 62.7 x 11 mm, while its weight tips the scale at 122 grams. When it hits the shelves on May 20, the Samsung Focus 2 will be available in a glossy white color scheme.

There are no surprises in the software department of the Samsung Focus 2 for AT&T. The handset runs Windows Phone 7.5 Mango out of the box. Check it out in action below.
