Okay, so that’s not really the reason they cited but the bottom line is that those using bada handsets that have a WQVGA resolution display (that’s 240 x 400) will not be getting the bada 1.2 update.

That includes a whole bunch of phones like the S5250 Wave525, S5330 Wave533, S5750 Wave575, S5780 Wave 578 and the S7230E Wave 723.
This dose of bad information comes straight from the horse’s mouth, i.e., bada’s Twitter account. Meanwhile, bada 1.2 is expected to be available in more countries this month while the 2.0 update can be expected in September.
@prince_of_mind5 2.0 upgrade is planned to be available from September in different countries gradually. But the schedule can be changed.
