Open multiple iPad apps simutanelously on-screen as resizable windows with Quasar

This is probably a dream come true for many iPad users – run apps in resizable windows. Thanks to this feature your iOS starts to look much like a desktop-like OS by finally breaking the one-app-at-a-time paradigm.

Using Quasar you can have multiple apps both running and available on the screen space at the same time (for example Skype and Safari). How about that?

At first I thought this would be quite buggy thing, but after watching this video I’m definitely sold. It’s amazingly fluid.

As you can see you can resize windows, go full screen or change orientation fast and easy. I suppose a Retina display will be much better place to work with Quasar rather than the old iPad screen.

Quasar is available only on jailbroken iPads via the Cydia Store. Oh, and it costs $10. If I had an iPad, I would definitely want to buy this!

There is one thing bothering me though. It is common knowledge the apps running in background are often put to sleep when minimized and there is a off-chance they might be closed after some time of inactivity so if you have opened four or more apps and use them the Quasar way, you might get some of them closed after a while. But unless you are using this to play Infinity Blade II and Dead Space side by side I doubt you’ll encounter such a problem.
