NVIDIA announced its project Shield handheld gaming console and the company released the full specifications and the pricing details just a few days ago. Now, the console is up for pre-order on NVIDIA’s website and you can also adopt the gadget from Gamestop, Newegg and Canada Computer.
NVIDIA Shield sports a 5-inch 720p touchscreen and is powered by a Tegra 4 chipset that packs four Cortex-A15 cores, a power saving core and a mobile GeForce GPU. The project Shield has a 16 GB inbuilt storage and can expand memory via microSD card slot.
The console runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and comes with TegraZone pre-installed. The gadget can be pre-order from the source link below by paying $349 and the gaming console ships by the end of June. Unfortunately, NVIDIA Shield is available only in US and Canada at the moment.
