Previously available only for the US, Canada and Japan, the Google Maps support for indoor plans for museums, train stations, and other large buildings now comes to the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
Google says more than 40 venues have declared their interest and worked with the search engine giant to make a floor plan for the app. Since it was launched as a beta back at CES 2012, indoor Google Maps has evolved and, as you can see, has a lot of buildings already covered.
To get indoor navigation, get to the Play Store and update your Google Maps to the latest version. Now you’ll always know where the bathroom in those confusing shopping malls is.
