Huawei MediaPad X1 has leaked yet again. This time we get to see the slate in its full glory thanks to a bunch of high resolution photos.
Huawei MediaPad X1 has been tipped numerous times before. We saw it photographed in the wild next to the upcoming and still unannounced Ascend P7, then it got certified in China with pretty detailed specs.
This time around the MediaPad X1 leaked in lots of live pictures revealing virtually all there is to know about it before the scheduled MWC announcement. Here come the photos.
The MediaPad X1 will pack a 7″ TFT display of 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. The slate will be powered by Huawei’s V9R1 chip – a quad-core 1.6GHz Cortex-A9 processor, Mali-450 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The X1 will also offer support for GSM telephony, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth and GPS.
Huawei MediaPad X1 has a 13MP with a LED flash is at the back, while a 5MP front snapper should do for some great selfies. As you can see from the pictures, the MediaPad X1 looks a lot like an oversized iPhone 5, specially with that metallic back. And while the MediaPad X1 itself might be looking like an iPhone, its protective cover is similar to Samsung’s S-View cases.
The slate spreads at 183.5 x 103.9 x 7.5 mm and weighs 239 g. It should go official the day before the MWC kicks off – February 23.
