HTC Flyer on pre-order on Amazon Germany for 669 euro, updateable to Android 3.0 Honeycomb

Fresh from its announcement at the MWC yesterday, the HTC Flyer is already available for pre-order over at Amazon Germany for €669.

The HTC Flyer is interesting because it marks the return of the stylus – but unlike those early styluses, the HTC Scribe technology is much more sophisticated…

HTC’s first Android tablet runs version 2.4 of the OS instead of the tablet Honeycomb branch, but HTC have redesigned their Sense UI specifically for the tablet form factor. It’s important to note that Amazon says that an upgrade to Honeycomb is planned (there’s nothing on that at HTC’s website).

Amazon Germany offers the HTC Flyer for €669 ($900), though there’s no word on an availability schedule (the official statement by HTC is that the launch is planned for Q2).

The HTC Flyer packs GPRS/EDGE/3G data connectivity and 32GB internal memory (expandable by microSD cards). Don’t forget to check out our hands-on to see Scribe in action.
