HTC Butterfly ad spends 2 minutes subtly implying that the phone is awesome

HTC’s Butterfly, the droid with the 5″ 1080p screen, started off in Japan, moved to the US and has now finally gone international. It keeps the same cool specs as the country-specific versions, including the high-res S-LCD3 and the Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset.

But instead of telling you about it, it’s easier to show it with this video ad for the HTC Butterfly.

See? HTC is living up to its “Quietly brilliant” slogan and subtly tells you about the Butterfly’s burst shot capabilities, wireless TV out and face recognition. The ad also shows the phone is splash resistant, which is true for the Japanese version (the J Butterfly), but the specs of the international version make no mention of this.
