HP plans to become better than number one in tablet space, invents a new number in process

We get it HP, you have an awesome new tablet at your hands and you think it is going to do really well. But there is no need to go ahead and invent new numbers to describe its future position in the market.

So stoked is HP’s Eric Cador about the upcoming HP TouchPad that in a recent press conference held in Cannes he went on to say:

“In the PC world, with fewer ways of differentiating HP’s products from our competitors, we became number one; in the tablet world we’re going to become better than number one. We call it number one plus.”

I’m sure Apple must be real worried right now. Not because of the TouchPad but because someone invented a new number before them. As for the other tablet manufacturers, we hope they don’t start coming up with their own new numbers.
