Black Friday deals have spread across the world, but the US still gets the best offers. Like a Samsung Galaxy S5 for $1 from Best Buy – with a 2-year contract, of course, but carrier stores still have it listed at $200. This offer is for AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. For $26 total you can get an S-View Flip case too.
Best Buy also has some salivating offers for pre-paid phones on multiple carriers. The cheapest is LG Realm for Boost Mobile for $20, but you can grab an LTE-enabled HTC Desire 510 on Virgin Mobile for $30 (note that the US version of the phone is not 64-bit like the European version). There’s also a 4G-enabled Galaxy S III for Sprint.
If you want an unlocked device, the 6″ Sony Xperia T2 Ultra can be yours for $200. Or you could snatch an Amazon Kindle Fire HD 6 tablet for $80 (Amazon’s current asking price is $100). Android tablets go as low as $40 if you’re okay with going off-brand. Otherwise a $100 Asus Memo Pad 7 is a good pick.
Windows 8 tablets start at $150, but $300 a Microsoft Surface 2 (32GB). Alternatively, an 11.6″ Acer Chromebook is $150. Apple’s tablets are getting a discount too, the outgoing iPad Air 2 will start at $400.
Another Kindle deal currently better than Amazon is the base eInk Kindle for $50 (normally $80). For accessories there are $80 Beats Solos and $80 Pebble smartwatches, $150 if you want the Pebble Steel.
You can browse the entire Black Friday catalogue from Best Buy, but before you rush out keep in mind that these prices are only valid from 5MP on November 27 to November 29.
