Google Chrome 30 brings image search for desktop and new gestures for Android

Google released an update for its Chrome web browser. The latest iteration of the popular application, dubbed Chrome 30 brings a few neat changes to the desktop and the version for Android devices.

Chrome users for Android will have three new gestures at their disposal. They include swiping horizontally across the top toolbar to switch tabs, dragging down from the toolbar to access the tab switching UI, as well as dragging down from the menu to open it and make a selection without lifting a finger.

The desktop version of Chrome 30 on the other hand allows users to search Google by image. The trick is done by right-clicking the picture in the browser and selecting the “Search Google for this image” option.

The new version of Chrome for desktop and Android will be rolling out to users over the next few days.
