The U-turn happened after the German antitrust authorities opened investigation against Amazon and the company faced further consequences had it failed to comply with regulations. Since Amazon has agreed to drop requirements that were hurting the competition, the German watchdog announced today that it will be closing the investigation and won’t be taking further action against the company.
