Fujifilm announces XF1 point and shoot camera

Fujifilm has announced the new XF1 point and shoot camera with a stunning retro design built to fit in your pocket. The XF1 is built from aluminum and synthetic leather that Fujifilm says reproduces the feel of genuine leather.

On the front you have a 25-100mm, f/1.8 FUJINON lens with a zoom ring. The camera is activated by turning the zoom ring and when not in use you can push the ring inside the camera to make it even smaller.

Inside there is a 12 megapixel, 2/3-inch EXR-CMOS sensor, which is fairly large for a camera of this size. The XF1 can also record 1080p videos. On the back is a 3.0-inch, 460k dot display with tempered glass for scratch resistance.

The Fujifilm XF1 goes on sale next month for $499.99 and will be sold in red, black and tan colors.
