First HTC Butterfly S promo video boasts big battery, HTC Zoe and BoomSound

The HTC Butterfly S went official right on schedule and the first promo video is already out. The phone combines HTC’s two 1080p phones, the HTC Butterfly and HTC One, into a new flagship. It brings some of the duo’s best qualities, including the UltraPixel camera with Zoe, the BoomSound stereo speakers and quad-core performance.

The video highlights all these features, but starts off with the battery, which packs a whopping 3,200mAh.

That’s 1,180mAh more than the original Butterfly and 900mAh more than the HTC One. It also tops other 1080p phones like the Samsung Galaxy S4 (2,600mAh), Sony Xperia Z (2,330mAh) and even the 5.5″ LG Optimus G Pro (3,140mAh).

It’s not just the battery though, there’s BlinkFeed, Zoe’s Video highlights and more.

What the video doesn’t mention is that the quad-core Krait 300 CPU has been clocked at 1.9GHz (matching the Galaxy S4), there’s a microSD card slot (just like the original Butterfly), it uses a polycarbonate unibody (rather than rather than aluminum like the HTC One), and the third capacitive button has made a comeback.
