Vine, one of the popular services for creating short, looping videos to share among your social network buddies has updated its Android application. The latest version of Vine for Android comes with a host of new features along with few performance improvements and bug fixes.
The update brings the Android app on par with the iPhone version and also comes with a unique feature, which goes by the name “capture widget” that lets you jump straight to the recording screen from your home screen.
Vine for Android now allows you to browse and submit your short videos to 15 new channels. You can now share your favorite posts with all your followers on Vine in one single tap.
There is a new capture tool in the latest Vine for Android update. The grid overlay for the recording screen allows you to position shots more accurately, while the new ghost mode shows you a copy of the last frame from the previous shot. Lastly, there is a new focus button added.
The update version of Vine for Android can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
