The best Android handsets battle it out on video for the “Ultimate display” title

I’ve got a pretty interesting one for you here. Six of the most popular Android handsets have their displays compared in a mouthwatering video. Motorola MILESTONE (or Droid), Google Nexus One, T-Mobile myTouch 3G (also known as HTC Magic), HTC Hero, Samsung Galaxy and Acer Liquid go head-to-head in this epic battle. Check it out after the break.



In my opinion the Google Nexus One and its AMOLED screen is a clear winner in this one, with contrast stretching way beyond what any LCD can achieve. The other participant from the AMOLED team, the Samsung Galaxy, also fares quite well despite its comparatively lower HVGA resolution. Just as expected the T-Mobile myTouch 3G ends up last with its LCD screen of HVGA resolution. But hey there’s no shame in loosing to this particular bunch.
