The Asus-made Google Nexus pre-orders are now shipping in the US

Users in the United States that’ve pre-ordered the Google Nexus slate are now very close to receiving their devices.

The tablet has begun shipping and Google has come out with a statement that the first wave of orders has already begun shipping and all pre-orders are scheduled to ship within 3 business days.

Pre-orders are shipping from Google’s Play Store, Office Depot and Gamestop.

The Google Nexus tablet is running the latest version of Android – 4.1 Jelly Bean – sports a 7″ 1280 x 800 display, a quad-core Tegra 3 processor and is made by Asus. The slate costs $199.99 for the base version 8 GB model and $249.99 for the 16 GB one.
