Sony Xperia Z1 undergoes a drop test

Sony Xperia Z1 is one of the most elegant smartphones in the market. The Xperia Z1 design has a metal casing and has both its front and back covered in glass. It’s almost a pity that a smartphone as pretty has to go for a ride in a drop test, but that’s the fate of every high-end device these days.

The Sony Xperia Z1 goes crashing against the pavement three times and does it manage to survive a shattered glass? Well, check out the video to find out.

Sony’s latest flagship, the Xperia Z1 was dropped in three different manners and if you have a strong stomach you can see what followed below.

Surprisingly, the glass-coated Z1 did not shatter and got away with just a few cosmetic damages. However, refusing to power on after the drops is quite disappointing.
