Sony Xperia Tablet Z now available on pre-order in UK, ships in mid-April

The official online Sony store in the UK is now taking pre-orders for the Wi-Fi-only version of the Xperia Tablet Z. The 16GB model is available only in black color (for now) and costs £399.

You can also opt for the 32GB Tablet Z, which is available in black and white paintjobs and costs £449.

If you pre-order the Sony Xperia Tablet Z from the Sony UK online store now, it will ship between April 12 and 15. There is still no launch date or pre-order campaign for the LTE-enabled Tablet Z model.

In case you need a refresh, Sony announced the Xperia Tablet Z in January for Japan, while in February the slate was made official worldwide. Just like the Xperia Z smartphone, the Xperia Tablet Z is water and dust-proof, and is powered by the same four 1.5GHz Krait cores, Adreno 320 graphics and 2GB of RAM.
