Samsung launches KNOX 2.0 globally

Samsung has announced the global launch of KNOX 2.0 – the company’s secured mobile platform that has been designed to provide advanced data and privacy protection for enterprise consumers.

Samsung has also rebranded its KNOX 2.0 platform as Knox Workspace and is now available on the Galaxy S5 across the globe. The KNOX Workspace comes with a host of new features such as platform security, support for all Android apps from Google Play Store, Split billing and two new cloud based services.

According to the South Korean firm, KNOX 2.0 brings “cutting-edge core platform security, improved user experience, and an expansive ecosystem to better meet the rapidly evolving enterprise mobility needs of customer.”

The KNOX 2.0 will be made available on other Galaxy smartphones through upcoming OS upgrades.
