The Motorola RAZR has already launched for the UK and now it’s USA’s turn, courtesy of Verizon. The DROID RAZR is now available over at Amazon Wireless for Verizon and is priced at $111.11, which is some way off the official $299.99 Verizon price.
Being that today is 11.11.2011 and the price is non-accidentally exactly $111.11 you can see what Moto did there. We suspect though that the promotion is a limited-time offer and we’ll be back to normal tomorrow, so if you have set your sight on the slim Kevlar-coated droid, you might want to hurry up with the order.
The Motorola 11.11 video ad from last week emphasized on the numerical importance of the release date. The DROID RAZR offers the same punch as the global RAZR but adds LTE connectivity and a 2MP front-facing camera. The rest of the specs include a 4.3″ qHD (540×960) SuperAMOLED display, 8 MP snapper capable of 1080p video recording thanks to the dual-core 1.2 GHz TI OMAP 4430 chipset with PowerVR SGX540 GPU.
Oh, and here’s our hands-on of the European RAZR for comparison’s sake.
