Verizon has just announced the LG Revolution – an LTE capable droid running on Android Froyo. The Revolution appears to be a competitor to the HTC Thunderbolt with a 4.3-inch WVGA display, a Snapdragon chipset with a 1GHz processor and Adreno 205 GPU, a 720p-capable camcorder and the LTE support.
LG Revolution also pack a 5 megapixel snapper, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video calls, Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth 3.0, an HDMI port, and a microSD slot with 16GB pre-installed card. Unfortunately the LG Revolution runs on Android 2.2 Froyo, instead of a newer Gingerbread release.
The Revolution will hit the Verizon’s store tomorrow on $250 price with a two-year contract and at least $60 tariff (talk and data). Ouch!
