LG has announced that two of the three tablets that make up its mid-range roster have gone on sale in the US today. They are the G Pad 7.0 and the G Pad 10.1.
Intriguingly, there was no mention of the G Pad 8.0 in LG’s press release, which may mean that particular model won’t officially be headed to the US. Or it could simply come later.
Either way, the other two devices are now up for grabs from companies such as Best Buy and Newegg, along with other “select retailers”. The 7-inch tablet comes with a recommended retail price of $149.99, while the 10.1-inch offering will go for $249.99. We’re talking about Wi-Fi-only variants here, as may have been obvious.
Those are good prices, but as you might imagine these are no top of the line performers. The G Pad 7.0 and G Pad 10.1 instead come with lower-midrange specs, although they both do run Android 4.4 KitKat from day one.
The smaller model is being offered in black, white, orange, and blue, while its bigger sibling comes in either red or black.
