This LED light bulb by Sony has a built-in Bluetooth speaker

Sony just reminded us that it used to be second to none in tech innovation. The Japanese giant launched an LED light bulb with a built-in Bluetooth speaker in Japan.

The light bulb produces 360 lumens of soft light, while the built-in Bluetooth 3.0 speaker utilizes a 40mm driver with maximum output of 2W. The setup consumes a total of 9W of power and weighs about 205 grams.

A smartphone app will allow users to control brightness and speaker volume of the cool accessory. A dedicated NFC remote will also be available.

The talented light bulb will launch in Japan at the end of this month for a tad less than $200 in local currency.
