Google updates Hangouts app for Android

Google has updated its Hangouts app for Android and the new version of the messenger now comes with a couple of tweaks and bug fixes.

The Hangouts app recently integrated SMS and MMS messaging, but that update also brought a few bugs along with it. However, Google has now squashed those that caused issues while sending and receiving MMS.

You can now turn off group messaging feature from the settings menu and send SMS to multiple people. Furthermore, with the latest version of the app, you can import existing SMS into the Hangouts interface.
