SwiftKey Keyboard with cloud support arrives to iOS

The famous SwiftKey Keyboard app has finally made its way onto iOS for the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

The popular keyboard app that has become well known in the Android community for its ability to make typing on touchscreen devices easy, brings its hallmark autocorrection and word prediction to iOS users.

SwiftKey is set to offer iOS users its ‘mind-reading’ ability by learning from your typing habits, and adapting to your writing style by memorizing the phrases that you use often. It will offer you typing suggestions based on your usage, and brings you the ability to autocomplete a word with a single tap. On the iPhone and iPod touch you’ll also be able to use SwiftKey Flow, which lets you type by sliding from letter to letter while getting the same real-time predictions based on your writing style.

You can even type in two languages simultaneously without having to switch between keyboards. Supported languages include:

  • English (US)
  • English (UK)
  • English (AU)
  • English (CA)
  • Portuguese (BR)
  • Portuguese (PT)
  • French (CA)
  • French (FR)
  • Italian
  • German
  • Spanish (ES)
  • Spanish (Latin America)
  • Spanish (US)

SwiftKey Keyboard will also include SwiftKey Cloud, which will store all of the typing patterns throughout your various accounts – like Facebook, Gmail, Twitter, and Evernote – to instantly personalize your keyboards across all of your usage scenarios.

Swiftkey will be available soon for iOS 8. To get an update when it’ll be arriving to iOS devices, go here.
